What is the eligibility criteria for Post Doctorate fellowship ?

The agency reserves the right to terminate the fellowship at any stage if it is assured that appropriate progress is not being made or that the grant has not been properly utilized.
Duration and Value of Post Doctorate fellowship
- A post-doctorate fellowship is full-time research work.
- The duration of the fellowship is strictly two years.
- The fellowship is valued at approx $420 per month and contingency grant is at approx $340 for per annum.
Under salary protection, a partner is entitled to salary and allowances, which are permissible as per rules and $340 per annum, Is a contingency grant. However, special allowances like children’s education allowance, medical reimbursement, LTC, etc. are not acceptable from ICSSR. However, the parent institution can pay/reimburse according to its own rules.
